Hello Everybody, I'm looking for aftermarket Levers but I keep hearing rumblings of compatibility issues.
The CRGs, I was told that the clutch lever is having issues with the clutch switch. I contacted CRG but nobody has gotten back to me.
Today I was reading that ASVs might have an issue with the cruise control.
Can you guys confirm what levers your using and any/or lack of compatibility issues? I guess from here I'm going to check out the Pazzos

Yamaha slightly changed the clutch lever dimensions a year or so ago, so previous levers which fit the older style design have a clearance issue with the new ones which prevent the clutch lever from closing completely. This could cause a problem with the cruise control. ASV knows all about this and changed the lockout tab to work with the new design, however there were still old style levers in the pipeline in early 2017. They should all be cleared out by now, but if you happen to get one of the older designs just call ASV and they will rush a new tab to you which is a two minute installation. I have ASV's and just removed the old tab and installed the new one they sent me, problem solved. I've had three sets of ASV levers on bikes and have never had a problem with them, and they don't fade or get chalky like a lot of the cheap Chinese ones do.

I bought MZS shorty levers off eBay last September. They look great, work perfectly and are inexpensive.

I picked up a set of Vtrec levers for my bike. They're just as nice as the FP Racing levers I had on another bike. No fitment issues at all. www.v-trec.com/en/

Evotech on mine and they work great. I have a barely used Evotech black adjustable/folding brake lever for the FZ-10. PM me if you want it. You can order the clutch side directly from them to make the set. I have the brake lever lying around because I swapped to an R1 master after I got the lever. Doh. I did run it for a short while with the FZ-10 master and Evotech lever - everything worked fine.

ASV full length levers, over 1000 miles on em no issues. That's what I settled on! I haven't used the brake lever yet because I'm waiting to do the R1 Master Cylinder Swap, but clutch lever seems all good.

I got CRG's and had to modified the clutch lever with a dremel. Just looked at the stock lever and made the new lever look like the stock one. It was easy, took about two minutes. It's on the bottom side and you'll never see it.

Last I heard when I originally posted this a while ago, they were waiting to get another FZ-10 back in the shop so they could fix it.

The MZS didn't work well for me. Installed them and they threw a code. Haven't brought it to the dealer yet to figure out the reason as I just installed them today.

Belay my last. Went to the dealership and had them get rid of the code. Turns out it was ACTUALLY the wheelie.. someone..did after the levers to see if the clutch was slipping. The front wheel slowed down to cause a "mismatch speed" between front and rear wheels. Levers are all good. Just wanted to clarify...
