$15400 black $15800 armour grey. Canadian dollars. No deals at all....every dealer is exact same price. Tuono 1100rr is cheaper...and deals as low as $13000. Twice the bike as well...road tested both. I came off of a Tuono to the FZ. The power and sound was definitely there, but the maintenance (valve check) and reliability was not my cup of tea. No regrets though, the crossplane music gets the job done and Yamaha reliability gives me piece of mind.

How many kms or miles when you bailed?

How many kms or miles when you bailed? 2012, 9k miles. I was quoted ballpark 600 dollars to get it done and also found a pretty detailed guide as I usually do my own valve checks. The problem was it needed special tools which were hard to source. I also couldn't find any oem parts for the bike like you'd be able to order online from most places for Japanese bikes. Before I bought the bike, the stator was replaced as that was a common issue and there were various oil weeps.. aside from that I didn't keep it too long.

Ya...the valve adjustment is a problem. I am a mechanic but not bikes....probably pass on that job...was quoted 350 to 500 for valve adjustment. If i buy new....i would stretch it out from 20 000kms to 25 000 kms and do it once...keep the bike for 50 000kms maybe....or skip valve ajust all together. Has 2 years warranty... 1st year free towing.....bmw is 3yrs...Suzuki 5yrs...others i think 1yr. I have same concerns as anyone else...but only live once....that bike rocks...1100 especially. I have fz 09 now...lots of those are blowing up too...each bike has issues.... Parts...fully agreed....i dealer in Texas af1....or local dealer only....stator problem is fixed now.... There is a few accessories aftermarket but thats it.... I find even for fz 09....had to order everything.... About 4 days.... Aprilla....factory part is 2weeks

My Raven - $13200 OTD in central Florida. That's the bike, fees, FL tax and tag. I did not have a trade in which may severely sway your final numbers.

Got mine at Apache in Scottsdale AZ. $14000 otd with a 5 year warranty. I was happy. Great guys to work with too. I went to Powersports first and they let me leave even though I had a check in my hand. It made Apache's job easy. All he had to do was not piss me off. lucky, need to get down there soon. im looking to get the fz10 on top of my fz07
