I'll get some pictures up within the next day or so. Would you rather them with the bike on the kickstand or on the front/rear stands? Jroc do you have any pics of your setup from the rear? Maybe something at a lower angle? Would the shad cases be more likely to fit? I feel like they stick put a bit more but look like they have more clearance towards the center

Rear stand would probably be ideal, then it'll be sitting at normal level with its own weight just so I can get an idea of how far they dropped down and how close to center they sit. Much appreciated! I'll get some pictures up within the next day or so. Would you rather them with the bike on the kickstand or on the front/rear stands? I thought I was posting here but I wrote in the shout out.I like the SW-MOTOTECH system that locks onto the gas cap ring. But why dont they offer a lockable hard case. Does anyone know if I can buy the 2 rings. Im sure I can cannabalize the parts off the bag but that would be rather pricey.

Does anyone know if you can mount aftermarket top boxes on the OEM rack? I’ve never had a top box on a bike before, so I apologize in advance if it’s a stupid question. I can pick up the Yamaha rack locally from a friend, but wasn’t sure if I would be limited to the Yamaha box option.

There is a ton of room with this setup. I didn't install any of the insulated tape that comes with the Givi mounts. The bottom of the right case never even gets warm from the exhaust.

Recently I install a set of Nanuk 915 cases. They are on the small side 15x12x6.5 , great for carrying fuel and tools for long trips. How did you mount these on the bike? Thanks, Chuck

Looking at buying the Shad SH36 panniers but I’ve got a tail tidy, would they still fit the the plate and indicators further back?

Here is my 18 MT10 in Touring Trim. Givi XS307 Tanklock Tank Bag, Givi Touring Shield, Yamaha Comfort Seat, and Nelson Rigg CL-1060ST tail bag. I am making my annual 5 day trip from Ohio to the Smoky Mountains this June, but this year on the MT instead of my FJR. The tail bag expands with plenty of storage room, and my tankbag is actually from the FJR. I switch it back and fourth, since they both have tank rings. It holds all my essential stuff, and has room for more. Also expandable, but I rarely expand it.

I have the vagabond fender eliminator with the stock signals and they fit between the cases. I also have a Graves evr exhaust and it clears the case but the exhaust does heat up the case quite a bit.

Hi ! I have a Kriega US-30 and a Nelson-Rigg CL-2020 tank bag that were very convenient on my FZ-07. I just got my MT-10 last weekend, I haven't had time to really look into how can I fit those 2 bags yet, so I'm wondering if anyone has been able to. I saw that there are no straps under the passenger seat as there are on the FZ-07 but in the user manual, they say that there is some space close to the passenger foot pegs to attach some bags ...

thanks for the list of choices. They all look like clamshell cases rather than top loaders. Has anyone gotten top loader cases on the MT-10?

Like Evitzee, I only need one bag for now, but I chose an expandable Ogio (pic below) tail piece, since I never carry a passenger, and hate having any crap in front of me while riding. My plan is to truck or trailer the bike to nice locations, then go to different routes from a central motel, so no need for extra luggage (it'd be in my truck). But I want to buy a set of slim bags if I ever need them. I'm not going to modify the bike in any other way, like windscreen, rack, electronic crap, etc.; I'm already done with it the way it sits below (after $1,600 in mounted accessories). Some of the bags posted here are almost as wide as my car. Ha ha. The only ones that I'd consider are the SWM Blazes, but need to know if they'd clear the turn-signals mounted on a Vagabond tail tidy, since I'm not going to modify my bike at all. I also want the least intrusive brackets, and the Blazes are the only ones that use a seat strap, only leaving a modestly ugly bracket by the passenger pegs after removing the tubes, rather than the large abominations with the others, which also widen the bike considerably. The Blazes unexpanded are the slimmest by far, which is important to me. Hopefully somebody with the Blazes can shed some light if they'd fit the stock turn-signals on a Vagabond TT; they stick out exactly the same as the widest part of the seat, as a reference. Thanks gang.

Well it seems I can't manage to get My Givi bags to fit with the Graves exhaust. I originally started with the full size can and then bought the EVR midpipe and cut my silencer down (I think it's a little shorter even than the included evr silencer) and it still won't latch. Maybe I need to sell these givis and buy one of the rectangular boxes. Any chance I can get some more pics from those of you rocking the Graves system and side bags?

Looking to add a topbox/case. Tempted to go with the OEM option from my dealer, but I'm wondering if the Givi system would be better. Any thoughts?

Pretty sure you have a lot more choises with givi on what size and type of box you can get. If they all have the same attachment mechanism to the base, id say you might want to look at that.
